What services and facilities are available at Wild?
Open air massage hut / treatment hut for relaxing massages and holistic treatments.
A breezy “Jungle Shala” - perfect for yoga, breathwork, sound journeys and social/community events.
Sauna (20-person capacity) plus twin cold plunge ice baths for contrast therapy.
On site jungle café: barista coffee, fresh drinks, relaxed seating under a pergola,cideal for post-session chill out.
A relaxed “jungle vibe”, you may see monkeys, plenty of wildlife. The perfect reset set amongst the jungle harmony.

Booking and Scheduling
Do I need to pre book yoga sessions at Wild Ahangama
Yoga classes often fill up during the season. Pre booking is recommended so that you can secure a place in the Jungle Shala. Walk ins are accepted when space allows.
Do I need to pre book the Sauna & Ice Bath at Ember & Ice
No. Sauna & Ice Bath sessions do not require pre booking. You can simply arrive during our open hours and join in.
Do I need to pre book massage treatments at Wild Ahangama
Yes & No. Pre booking is preferred to ensure your preferred time and treatment are available. Walk ins are subject to availability, we’d strongly advise booking ahead as we get very busy!

What is Ayurvedic massage and why is it popular in Sri Lanka
Ayurveda is a holistic healing system that originated in the Indian subcontinent more than 3000 years ago. Sri Lanka has its own long established Ayurvedic tradition. Wild Ahangama offers daily yoga in our Jungle Shala. Classes are open to all levels and are held in a peaceful natural setting.
What style of yoga does Wild Ahangama offerOur teachers guide a variety of yoga styles that suit beginners through to experienced practitioners. Sessions may include vinyasa flow, hatha, breath led movement, restorative practices or special event classes such as yin or sound assisted sessions.
Is yoga at Wild suitable for beginners
Yes. All classes are taught in a gentle and supportive way. Teachers offer variations so that every guest can participate comfortably.
Do I need to bring my own yoga mat to Wild Ahangama
No. Mats and props are provided in the Jungle Shala.
Do I need to pre book yoga classes
It is recommended to pre book because class sizes are limited. Walk ins are accepted when space allows.

Can I book the Jungle Shala for a private event
Yes. The Shala can be reserved for workshops, team sessions, wellness gatherings, yoga classes, birthdays or community events. It is suitable for groups that want a peaceful natural setting.
Can I book a private yoga or breathwork class for my group
Yes. We offer private classes for couples, friends and larger groups. These can be tailored to your experience level and preferred pace.
Can groups use the sauna and ice bath together
Yes. Groups are welcome to join contrast therapy sessions. There is no need to pre book and guests can rotate between the sauna and ice baths at their own pace.
Do you host retreats at Wild Ahangama
Yes. Retreat hosts can enquire about multi day use of the space which includes access to the Shala, sauna, ice baths and café area and massage hut.

What is the Ember and Ice experience at Wild AhangamaEmber and Ice is a contrast therapy experience that combines heat from the sauna with the cold from the ice bath. Guests move between hot and cold to stimulate circulation, improve recovery and create a strong mental reset.
Do I need previous experience to join the sauna or ice bath
No. Both are suitable for beginners. You can enter and exit at your own pace and stay for as long or as short as you like.
How cold is the ice bath at Wild
The ice baths are kept at a controlled temperature that is ideal for contrast therapy. This allows beginners to enter safely while still offering a strong therapeutic effect.
How hot is the sauna at Wild Ahangama
